This Privacy Notice for Mazey ("we," "us," or "our"), describes how and why we might access, collect, store, use, and/or share ("process") your personal information when you use our services ("Services"), including when you:

  • Visit our website at https://mazey.gg or any website of ours that links to this Privacy Notice
  • Use Mazey. Service Overview: Mazey is a Solana-based maze wagering game. Players connect a Solana wallet, place bets in SOL, and navigate a server-generated maze with provably fair outcomes. Wins are paid out according to the in-game multiplier; losses are limited to the stake for that run. Demo mode may allow zero-stake play without wallet interaction. Fairness & Seeds: Outcomes use a commit–reveal scheme with server and client seeds, plus a pre-commit queue. Hashes are exposed for player verification. Wallet & Transactions: Deposits are player-signed SOL transfers to the Mazey bank wallet; small payouts may be sent from a designated hot wallet. Mazey does not custody private keys. Data Collected: Public wallet addresses, optional X (Twitter) handle linkage, gameplay events (runs, picks, outcomes, multipliers), fairness hashes/seeds, and limited device/telemetry needed to operate the service. Leaderboard/History: Recent matches and leaderboard entries store handles, stakes, multipliers, outcomes, and timestamps. Third Parties: Solana RPC providers, Supabase for storage, and wallet adapters (e.g., Phantom, Solflare) are used to operate the game. Retention & Security: Run data and fairness proofs are retained for integrity checks; payouts and deposits are logged for auditability. Private keys are never collected.

    Personal information you disclose to us

    In Short: We collect personal information that you provide to us.

    We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the Services, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.

    Personal Information Provided by You. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Services, the choices you make, and the products and features you use. The personal information we collect may include the following:

  • usernames
  • Solana public address
  • X (Twitter) handle (optional)
  • gameplay data and statistics
  • transaction history
  • device information and IP address
  • Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive information.

    Payment Data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you choose to make purchases, such as your payment instrument number, and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All payment data is handled and stored by Phantom and Solflare. You may find their privacy notice link(s) here: https://phantom.com/privacy and https://www.solflare.com/privacy-policy/.

    Blockchain Data. When you interact with our Services using a blockchain wallet, your public wallet address and all associated transaction data are recorded on the Solana blockchain. This data is publicly visible, immutable, and not controlled by us. We may associate your wallet address with your account for identification and service provision purposes.

    All personal information that you provide to us must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes to such personal information.

    2. HOW DO WE PROCESS YOUR INFORMATION?

    In Short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes with your consent.

    We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

  • To facilitate account creation and authentication and otherwise manage user accounts. We may process your information so you can create and log in to your account, as well as keep your account in working order.
  • To enable user-to-user communications. We may process your information if you choose to use any of our offerings that allow for communication with another user.
  • To evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing, and your experience. We may process your information when we believe it is necessary to identify usage trends, determine the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns, and to evaluate and improve our Services, products, marketing, and your experience.
  • To determine and verify game outcomes. We process transaction and gameplay data to calculate winnings, verify fairness through our commit-reveal system, and maintain the integrity of the gaming experience.
  • To prevent fraud and ensure fair play. We may process your information to detect and prevent fraudulent activity, collusion, exploitation of bugs, or other violations of our terms of service.
  • To comply with legal obligations. We may process your information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes, including anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) requirements where applicable.
  • 3. WHEN AND WITH WHOM DO WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

    In Short: We may share information in specific situations described in this section and/or with the following third parties.

    We may need to share your personal information in the following situations:

  • Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
  • Blockchain Networks. Transaction data is shared with the Solana blockchain network as an inherent part of blockchain technology. This data is public and immutable.
  • Infrastructure Providers. We use Supabase for data storage and Solana RPC providers to interact with the blockchain. These providers may have access to certain data necessary to provide their services.
  • Wallet Providers. When you connect your wallet, the wallet provider (e.g., Phantom, Solflare) may collect information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
  • Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information where required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
  • Regulatory Bodies. We may share information with gaming regulators, financial authorities, or law enforcement agencies as required by applicable law or in response to valid legal requests.
  • 4. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?

    In Short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless otherwise required by law.

    We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). No purpose in this notice will require us keeping your personal information for longer than three (3) months past the start of the idle period of the user's account.

    For gaming and wagering data, we retain:

  • Transaction records: 7 years (for regulatory compliance)
  • Gameplay history and fairness proofs: 5 years (for audit and dispute resolution)
  • Account information: Duration of account plus 3 months after deletion request
  • When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

    5. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?

    In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.

    We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. Although we will do our best to protect your personal information, transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

    Security measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Regular security audits and penetration testing
  • Access controls and authentication mechanisms
  • Server-side generation of game outcomes to prevent manipulation
  • Secure key management for hot wallet operations
  • 6. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?

    In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.

    We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent's use of the Services. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records.     7. WHAT ARE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS?

    In Short: You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time, depending on your country, province, or state of residence.

    Withdrawing your consent: If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, which may be express and/or implied consent depending on the applicable law, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us by using the contact details provided in the section "HOW CAN YOU CONTACT US ABOUT THIS NOTICE?" below.

    However, please note that this will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal nor, when applicable law allows, will it affect the processing of your personal information conducted in reliance on lawful processing grounds other than consent.

    Account Information

    If you would at any time like to review or change the information in your account or terminate your account, you can:

  • Upon your request to terminate your account, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from our active databases. However, we may retain some information in our files to prevent fraud, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our legal terms and/or comply with applicable legal requirements.

    8. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES

    Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.

    9. AGE & ELIGIBILITY

    You must be of legal gambling age in your jurisdiction (e.g., 18+ or 21+ or higher where required). By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet the minimum age requirements of your jurisdiction. We reserve the right to request proof of age at any time and to suspend or terminate accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.

    Residents of jurisdictions where online gambling is prohibited are not permitted to use our Services for real-money wagering. It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of our Services complies with applicable local laws.

    10. GEOLOCATION / JURISDICTIONAL CONTROLS

    Access may be blocked or limited based on your location. We may collect IP/geolocation signals to comply with local laws and regulatory requirements. Users from restricted jurisdictions (including but not limited to the United States, United Kingdom, and other prohibited territories) may be blocked from accessing wagering features.

    We may use geolocation technology to:

  • Block access from prohibited jurisdictions

  • Comply with licensing requirements
  • 11. RESPONSIBLE GAMING / SELF-EXCLUSION

    We are committed to responsible gaming. You may request self-exclusion, cooling-off periods, or limits (deposit, loss, session). We will enforce these on the platform level and may share exclusion status with affiliates where legally required.

    12. PAYMENTS & CUSTODY

    Deposits are player-initiated on-chain transfers. We do not custody your private keys. Payouts are processed from multiple hot wallets.

    Important information about payments:

  • All deposits require player-signed transactions from your personal wallet
  • We never have access to your private keys or seed phrases
  • Payouts are processed automatically from hot wallets
  • All transactions are recorded on the Solana blockchain and are publicly verifiable
  • Transaction fees (gas) are the responsibility of the user for deposits
  • 13. TRANSACTION LOGGING & AUDIT

    We log deposits, wagers, outcomes, payouts, and device/session data for compliance, fairness audits, and dispute resolution. Blockchain transactions are public and immutable.

    Our logging includes:

  • All deposit and withdrawal transactions with timestamps
  • Game session data including bets, outcomes, and multipliers
  • Fairness seeds and hashes for each game round
  • Device fingerprints and IP addresses for security purposes
  • User actions and interactions for audit trails
  • This data may be shared with regulators, auditors, or law enforcement upon valid legal request.

    14. FAIRNESS

    Game outcomes use a commit–reveal scheme with public hashes and player-verifiable seeds. We retain fairness logs for auditability.

    Our fairness system includes:

  • Server seeds: Pre-committed before each game round, hash publicly visible
  • Client seeds: Player-provided or system-generated randomness
  • Combined seed derivation: Deterministic combination of server and client seeds
  • Verifiable outcomes: Players can verify any past game using revealed seeds
  • Audit trail: Complete fairness data retained for independent verification
  • You may verify any game outcome using the fairness information provided in your game history.

    15. DO WE MAKE UPDATES TO THIS NOTICE?
